Merry-Go-Round Museum update is live.
The new Merry-Go-Roudn Museum update is live as of a few minutes ago. You can check out all of the goodness by heading over to http://www.sm2designs.com.
Progress and all that jazz.
Things are moving smoothly over the last week as I continue to tune up SM2 after almost a year of neglect. I've been using Coppermine Photo Gallery software for almost seven years now, and it still amazes me how much I have to learn about how it works. They keep adding new stuff every other version and I really have to do my best to keep up with the changes. Hopefully in the next year I can finally finish my own gallery code, but until then Coppermine will be hanging around a bit longer.
As soon as all the behind the scenes work is done this morning, I'll be getting another update ready to go live for Thursday morning. We're headed to Sandusky, Ohio this week to visit the Merry-Go-Round Museum. You got to love getting two updates up in two weeks' time. I'm already a step ahead of the 2010 curve and I hope to stay that way. Taking a year off of theme park updates really re-charged my batteries, and I'm actually having fun again thankfully. More from me soon, time to get some Redbull in the system.

We're back in business boys!
Just a few quick notes about all the recent progress at SM2 recently. Today pretty much marks the first week of SM2's comeback. The first photo update in almost 14 months went live last week and has done above decent numbers traffic wise. It was also pretty cool to see the Boardwalk pick up on the photos as well. Some days I truly love Twitter, others are a whole different story. It's going to be fun being able to use it effectively to help get the word out about new updates.
So I'm now getting ready to put the next set of photos on deck but I'm having a hard time choosing between a Walt Disney World update, or some better late than never Oktoberfest shots. Although I still have a lot of backed up content that needs to be released, at least I have options at the moment.
At this point all I need to do today is get some more nuts and bolts tightened on the site, and finally sign up for a Google/PayPal merchant accounts, so I can start selling my photos and services a bit easier. Easy stuff.
